The mission of the Centre is to enhance the capacity of Malagasy institutions in charge of economic management in the areas of analysis, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of economic policies.At its 40th Regular Meeting, in December 2008, the Executive Board approved a grant of US$2 million to CREAM for phase II.
Project Description:The main goal of CREAM project is to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Madagascar in economic policy research, policy analysis, formulation and management. The goal forthe second phase is to strengthen Centre’s institutional platform, and consolidate its achievements, in order to enhance the capacity of the Government of Madagascar in economic policy research, policy analysis, formulation and management for the implementation of the Madagascar Action Plan (MAP).
