Kevin Urama holds MSc in Agricultural Economics (University of Nigeria), MPhil with distinction and a Ph.D. in Land Economy (University of Cambridge, UK). He is a seasoned development economist with extensive Africa-wide and global experience in inclusive green growth and sustainable development. He is currently the Senior Director of the African Development Institute (ADI), and former Senior Policy Advisor to the President of the African Development Bank (AfDB) on Inclusive and Green Growth. Dr. Urama is highly experienced in strategy, policy development and implementation of activities to achieve inclusive and green growth in Africa. He previously worked as a Senior Consultant for the African Development Bank (AfDB), advising the President as a member of the Bank’s Transition Management Team, and involved in leading the Bank-wide capacity development efforts and supporting all African countries with cutting-edge policies to accelerate delivery on the High 5 priorities of the Bank, the SDGs and Agenda 2063 in countries and across regions.
