IDEC has the following specific objectives include. (i) Promoting a framework for the discussion of economic issues in the context of a new pluralistic society; (ii) Promoting the national capacity building in the area of economic policy analysis and social policies and (iii) responding to the requests of the Government's for research capacity.
Project Description:The project goal is to contribute to national development processes in Burundi. The project specific objectives are to: (i) Enhance the institutional and human capacity in the public sector for improved economic policy analysis and management; (ii) Strengthen the Non-State Actors capacity in public policy analysis and assessment, (iii) and Strengthen IDEC institutional Capacity in order to improve its effectiveness in resource mobilization to address sustainability.
