PAP is charged with the task of facilitating the effective implementation of the policies and objectives of the African Economic Community (AEC) and the AU. At its 36th Regular Meeting, in December 2006, the Executive Board approved a grant of US$ 2 million to PAP.
Project Description:The main goal of the project was to build the institutional capacity of the PAP Secretariat by facilitating its organizational development, strengthening its research and information resources, improving its human resources skills capacities, and improving its visibility and stature.
