    Introduction:

    In response to a study commissioned by ACBF, the PSMTP was identified, developed and validated by representatives of training institutions, the public sector, civil society and donors, to address the need to increase the supply of qualified public sector managers on the African continent. At its 32nd Regular Meeting in December 2004, the Executive Board approved a grant of US$ 12 million to support the PSMTP in various high tertiary institutions in Africa. 

    Project Description:

    The main goal of PSMTP is to improve the performance of the public sector through the provision of balanced academic and professional training in public sector management in Africa.
