On the 6thof June 2012 ACBF signed a US$ 2 million grant with the Government of Zimbabwe for the Ministry of Regional Integration and International Co-operation.
Project Description:The project goal is to strengthen MoRIIC’s internal efficiency and effectiveness in delivering its mandate. The project specific objectives are to: (a) Enhance regional integration and (b) Improve coordination of development assistance. These specific objectives have been cascaded into four-year program Performance Achievements and Annual Performance Goals.
The Program expected outcomes are:
a. Enhanced MoRIIC’s capacity, efficiency and its institutional mandate
- Zimbabwe Aid Policy entrenched through effective implementation of Government Development Fund ( GDF) and contributing to improved aid coordination;
- Improved development assistance, and
- More successful implementation of ratified regional integration protocols and North-South corridor projects.
